Doug & Jen's Amazing Christmas RACE!

Craig's Dad made his brother Doug and his wife Jen a
really cool coffee table for Christmas. I suggested that we
come up with a fun way to give it to them. Since the
Amazing RACE is one of their favorite TV shows, we
thought we would let them participate in their own
Amazing Christmas RACE......

I am all bundled up ready to hide the clues for Doug and Jen.

We came up with different clues and tasks
for them to complete before reaching the
finish line where they would receive their
Christmas Surprise.

The first clue, wrapped in a gift box, lead them to the church
to search the buildings and grounds for their next clue. Once
they found it, they were instructed to build a 3-tiered snowman
at least 3 feet tall. Once this was completed and approved,
they were given their next clue.

This clue lead them to the pump house located down on
the farm by the Willowcreek. Of course they were to travel
by four wheeler.

Once they found their next clue they were instructed to travel
by foot to the Southeast corner of the hay barn and with 5 bales of
hay make a Christmas Star.

After their star was approved by Tim the Farmer they were
instructed to march around like a Russian Soldier (or if you
watched the last season of the Amazing RACE, we specifically
told them to imitate a frat boy marching like a Russian Soldier)
The most hilarious part of the entire season.

After completing this and making us all laugh they were able
to travel by four wheeler to the lower garage where they would
receive their present. It was a lot of fun to see them hurry to
finish line wet from running around in the snow! Doug and Jen
were great sports and really played the part of the Amazing RACE.

I love how we are on the internet doing that. It was tiring but the prize was well worth it!
